Waterite TriPlex Big Blue 4.5" Diameter Water Filter Housing Kits can be used to filter sediment and odors out of the water supply. After filtering, the UV unit kills any remaining bacteria that were too small to be trapped by the filters. (note: photo shows 20" triplex filter unit with UV).
The filter housings accept all Big Blue 4.5" diameter 10" long water filter cartridges, including Melt Blown Polypropylene, Pleated Polyester, Granular Activated Carbon and String Wound sediment cartridges, as well as carbon block filters for taste and odor removal. These triple water filter housings accept any brand of 10" long 4.5" OD Big Blue water filters including Waterite, Plumb-Eeze, Harmsco, GE Osmonics, Flomatic, Pentair, Clack and Watts.
The Excelight Ultraviolet Disinfection system is attached to the filter system.
