This smartly designed Donabe is compatible with a wide range of cooktops such as gas, induction, halogen and can be used in the microwave and the oven.
For induction stove tops this piece has a built in heating element on the surface bottom allowing for the conduction of heat without completely touching the surface minimizing any friction damages. This heating element also ensure even thorough heating.
You can steam, simmer, and stew with KAKOMI. To steam, simply add water to the pot, insert the attached steam plate, and turn on the heat. It lets you enclose the rich taste and nutrients of ingredients without using oil.

Care Instructions: Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. Immediately wash and dry well after use, and keep dry when not in use. If the pot becomes burnt, boil water in the pot, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and simmer in low heat for 2-3 minutes, let it cool down and rub with a melamine sponge.
