Simplify Hose Installations with 90 Degree Elbow Aluminum Camlock90 Degree Elbow Aluminum Camlocks are more than just hose fittings; they are an essential component for efficient and reliable hose routing in your fluid management systems. Whether used in industrial, commercial, or municipal settings, these elbow camlocks provide the flexibility and strength needed for effective fluid transfer in applications requiring directional changes. How to Measure Camlock FittingsChoosing the right camlock size can be confusing if you’re only going by the nominal size stamped on the fitting. The actual diameter you measure won’t match the "named size" of the camlock. For example, a 2" camlock will actually measure about 2 1/2 inches across when you measure the diameter.
Grab a Measuring Tool – Use a tape measure, ruler, or (ideally) a micrometer for the best precision.
Measure the Fitting
Male Camlock Fittings → Measure the outside diameter at the widest point.
Female Camlock Fittings → Measure the inside diameter across the open end.
Match Your Measurement – Use the chart below to find the nominal camlock size based on your measurement.
Camlock Fittings Size ChartHow to Measure Camlock FittingsCamlock sizes are “nominal” and won’t match what you measure with a ruler. For example, a 2" camlock typically measures about 2 1/2" across. Measure the outside diameter for male fittings and the inside diameter for female fittings, then match to the chart.

Quick tip: Male size = measured by outside diameter. Female size = measured by inside diameter at the open end.Tips for Accurate Sizing
The nominal camlock size does not equal the actual diameter you measure.
Always confirm your measurement against the chart before placing an order.
Using a micrometer or calipers will provide more reliable results than a basic ruler.
