Stainless Steel Insert Stiffeners are designed to prevent the collapse of polyethylene (PE) tubing or high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe or tubing when using brass compression joint fittings that fit on the outside of the pipe or tube. Stainless Inserts are manufactured to fit inside IPS pipes and tubing from 1-1/4" to 2".
These IPS Size SS inserts fit SDR-11 (water line) or SDR-17 (low pressure sewer) plastic pipe.
Made of 304 stainless steel, these insert stiffeners are dimpled and flanged to retain placement within the service line.
