To Use:
Slip the end of the pump lifting chain through the large slip opening end of the Grab Link.
Connect the large slip opening end of the Grab Link to the hook on the end of the electric hoist cable.
Keeping the pump lifting chain taut, use the electric hoist cable to lower the Grab Link down the taut chain until it reaches the pump. The Grab Link will slide down but will not grab the taut chain.
Slackening the pump lifting chain will allow the Grab Link grab opening to securely grab the pump lifting chain.
Once the Grab Link grab opening has grabbed the pump lifting chain, use the electric hoist to lift the pump from the pit.
NOTE: To avoid having the pump guide claws bind on the guide pipes the pump must remain straight and plumb when lifting.
