The Higonokami Folding Knife from Japan is a traditional utility knife that has been in use for over a century. Lightweight, compact and equipped with a strong iron steel blade has made this knife a must-have everyday item.  Perfect for picnics, camping and general usage. An eyelet near the base of the handle can be used to store this knife away on a key fob, lanyard or clasped inside a bag. 

The double-edged V-shaped blade can be used on either side regardless of your dominant hand. The hand-forged blue steel blade has been crafted with a Warikomi technique that encloses the hard steel in the middle with a soft iron on the outside. 

The unfinished brass handle contains small scratches, and with time and use will darken and develop an intriguing character specific to its user.
