Exceptional Working Pressure: Capable of accommodating pressures from full vacuum (29.9 in Hg/760 mm Hg) up to 750 psi/5171 kPa/52 bar, with performance dependent on material, wall thickness, and pipe size.
Versatile Application: Seamlessly joins Victaulic Original Groove System (OGS) roll grooved and cut grooved pipes, valves, fittings, and accessories, providing a rigid pipe joint designed to restrict axial or angular movement.
Code Compliance: Meets support and hanging requirements according to ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code, ASME B31.9 Building Services Code, and NFPA 13 Sprinkler Systems.
Robust Housing: Constructed from ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536, Grade 65-45-12, with a standard orange enamel coating for added durability.
Advanced Gasket Technology: Grade “E” EPDM gasket with a temperature range of –30ºF to +230ºF/–34ºC to +110ºC, suitable for hot water service, various dilute acids, oil-free air, and many chemical services. UL Classified for potable water service at both cold +73°F/+23°C and hot +180°F/+82°C. Note: Not compatible with petroleum or steam services.
Pipe Joint Lubricant is recommended for proper gasket installation to prevent the gasket from being pinched. Apply a thin coat to the gasket exterior, gasket lips and/or housing interiors.
Durable Bolts and Nuts: Carbon steel oval neck track bolts and hex nuts meeting ASTM and ISO standards, zinc electroplated for enhanced corrosion resistance.
