Water hardness is caused almost entirely by calcium and magnesium ion. Hardness increases soap consumption in laundries and causes scale in boilers and hot water tanks. Hach Total Hardness Test Kit Model 5-EP provides data for process control and record keeping. Smallest increment is 20 mg/l.
Utilizes drop count titration and EDTA powder pillows.
Kit contains two reagents, bottle, measuring tube, instruction sheet, and carrying case
