Cut the PEX-A tubing squarely maintaining a clean edge.
Slide a PEX expansion ring (reinforcing collar) over the end of the tubing.
Insert the expansion tool into the tubing and expand until the pipe and ring are stretched wide enough to accept the fitting.
Insert the stainless steel tee immediately into the expanded pipe.
Hold in place for a few seconds until the PEX tubing shrinks back down (memory effect), gripping the fitting tightly.
