The Cold Expansion PEX x FPT Drop Ear 90° Elbow is a premium solution for creating secure, corrosion-resistant connections in PEX systems. Crafted from high-quality 304 stainless steel, this fitting is designed to withstand aggressive water conditions, making it ideal for areas with high acidity or challenging water quality. Cold-Expansion is installed by expanding the pipe (PEX-A) and collar which is installed over the end of the pipe using a power expansion tool, or a manual hand tool for small jobs. When the pipe and collar are expanded the fitting is inserted and held in position for a short duration allowing the pipe and collar shrink back down to create your connection.
