Sometimes this type of bangle is referred to as carved celluloid, but it is actually molded. This captivating vintage bangle is comprised of an array of flowers including roses, mums, daisies punctuated by two elephant heads. The elephant is considered an auspicious animal because the Chinese character for "elephant" has the same pronunciation as the Chinese word for "auspicious" or "lucky."
